where to download the Folder Colorizer© application

Folders in the Microsoft Windows® operating system have a yellow color by default. To find a folder you are looking for, you must read through the names of them, one by one. There is a simple and easy solution to quickly identify folders. The Folder Colorizer© application can help you locate folders faster in a window full of similar folders; you just categorize and differentiate folders from each other by applying a different color to each folder. The application provides you with a number of pre-selected colors to choose from, as well as a tool to select custom colors. By following the instructions below you can learn where to download the application so you can get started changing the color of your folder icons.

Downloading and using the Folder Colorizer©:

  1. Open your Internet browser and go to the Softorino© product page.
  2. Scroll down to the “Folder Colorizer” product description and click on the “Download Now” button.
  3. Save the file to your hard drive and run the installer.
  4. The License Agreement dialog box will be displayed. Read the terms and select the “I accept the agreement” button. Click on the “Next” button.
  5. Now you can begin the installation by clicking on the “Install Now” button (you can also specify additional tasks by clicking on “Customize” button).
  6. When the installation process has finished, the installation wizard will automatically close.
  7. Open Windows® Explorer and locate the folder you want to colorize.
  8. Right-click on the folder and select “Colorize!” from the menu, then select the color you desire.
  9. The activation window will pop up. Enter your email and activate the software. After a successful activation, the icon color will be changed.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Choose Colors from the Colorize! menu to set a custom color for the selected folder. Just click and move your mouse inside the Pick a Color circle, and select Add Color to add the color you desire to the list.
  • To have the colors of the folders displayed correctly, do not display the folder in the thumbnail view.
