How to add another two time zones to your current one in the taskbar in Microsoft Windows® 7

The Microsoft Windows® operating system displays the time of day in the system tray at the bottom-right corner of the desktop. Sometimes, we communicate with customers or colleagues in a different time zone. In Windows® 7, you can easily add more clocks to the taskbar. So, if you want to know what the time is in other places of the world, read the instructions below. You will learn how to add another two time zones to your current one in the taskbar. 


  1. Click on the time in your system tray in the bottom-right corner of your desktop to open the time dialog box.
  2. Click on the  “Change date and time settings…” link.
  3. The “Date and Time” window will open. Switch to the “Additional clocks” tab.
  4. You can set two more clocks. Check the “Show this clock” checkbox to enable them.
  5. In the “Select time zone” dropdown menu, choose the desired location.
  6. Into “Enter display name” type the name of the clocks.
  7. Click “OK” to close the settings window.
  8. Now, if you place your mouse cursor on the clocks in the system tray you can see the time in different time zones.
